Vendor Information
Vending Rules & Guidelines
These policies apply to all vending at MTWS events: seminars, conferences, and standalone vending days alike. Read them before you register.
Register before you show up
Walk-in vending isn't an option: every vendor registers and pays in advance through the event's registration link. Space is limited and goes to registered vendors first-come, first-served.
When registration opens for a specific event, we'll share the sign-up link separately, by email, flyer, or announcement.
Your payment covers the entire 3-day event, not a single day. If you only vend one or two of the three days, there's no partial refund for the days you skip.
Sisters' and brothers' spaces are separate
Vending spaces are strictly separated by gender. Sisters' spaces are in the front yard of the Sisters' building; brothers' spaces are in the front parking lot of the Brothers' building; vendors stay on their assigned side.
Brothers may step into the sisters' vending area only to make a purchase, then leave right away. Security will escort anyone lingering back to the brothers' side.
Setup & teardown windows
Check-in opens at 10:30 AM Friday; arrive on time so setup isn't held up. Spaces are assigned at check-in, first-come first-served (10 ft × 10 ft each); look for the posted sign with a QR code in front of each building. No early arrivals.
10:30–11:15 AM is reserved for sisters setting up with male assistants; assistants must leave by 11:15 AM sharp. 11:15 AM–12:00 PM is setup time for sisters without assistants.
Tents can stay up overnight, but everything must be torn down and cleared by Sunday Asr time. MTWS isn't responsible for anything lost, stolen, or damaged.
Bring your own setup
Come ready to run your space end-to-end: tents, tables, chairs, signage, change, and something to collect your own trash. Vendor stock and materials can't be stored inside the masjid building, so plan your load-in accordingly.
Books are off the table
Book sales aren't permitted at MTWS vending. This covers Islamic books, children's books, and any other educational material. Plan your inventory accordingly.
Parking
Once you're set up, park at the rear of MTWS. It keeps the parking near the vending area open for attendees.
Keep your confirmation code handy
Your confirmation code, emailed after payment, is your proof of registration. An auditor walks the vending area with a printed vendor list and may ask for your name, phone number, and confirmation code.
Refunds
Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund. You may submit a refund request up to 5 days before the event start date (or by the deadline on your confirmation email for standalone vending events). Use your confirmation code at the refund request page to start one.
